Petta trailer review

By Akshay

After long, Rajinikanth looks nonchalant, poised and lively. Petta trailer shows that 'Thalaivar' who was restrained in the recent years has broken the shackles in a dashing manner.

First of all in a Rajinikanth movie nothing more than style matters to his fans, i.e his looks. The first look itself has shown the hardwork and dexterity in making Rajini a youth again. But not just in stills, even in continuous shots in different frames there wasn't a bit of artificiality in Rajinikanth, that I know of.

Packed with loads of badass scenes and lines of Rajinikanth, the implosion of whistles in theatres are given.

The starcast too promises to be a value addition. As Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Nawaz Siddique and Bobby Simha who have all been consistently rising the bar of their movies. As for Simran, all eyes will be on her, with not a particularly dream comeback with Seemaraja.

'Rajinified' is the coinage that speaks volumes of the kind of movie Petta will be. With the racy cuts, the storyline becomes unpredictable.Yet, the prospect of Rajini giving a hard time to the villains in a laidback manner assures Petta will bring back the Rajini of 80s and 90s.
