A total of 515 cases have been reported in the city so far ,The Chennai coperation has taken immediate steps to contain the virus ,the civic body told Madras high court.
As many as 3314 workers are engaged in dengue / mosquito to control activities in city .Dengue awareness programs are conducted in 1469 schools including private institutions by public health officials. 60 tones of garbage is removed from across the city every day .
