Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab calls it quits

As a new twist and setback to the envisaged self-sufficient Great Britain, the Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab gets the walking papers.

Brexit was a move that was seen as England calling the shots on it's trade and economic policies. This move was bolstered by the current Prime Minister of England Theresa May. The former PM David Cameron was in favour of the ‘remain’ campaign.

Though Great Britain finds EU policies as downsizing its potential, the economic experts feel otherwise.

The per capita income of England had reduced since the Brexit referendum. There had been a loss of 404 Euro per average household in England. The GDP of England too plummeted by 2 to 2.5%.

May’s cabinet has been planning for a ‘soft’ Brexit. But the amicablity with EU is seen somewhat as England’s docility, that is how it was for the erstwhile Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab. Some features of the Brexit like EU’s power of imposing Veto on the UK and Northern Ireland’s freehand that threatens the sovereignty of the UK was to the dislike of Mr. Raab.

Dominic Raab felt the purpose of Brexit had been watered down and that he can't work against the interest of the UK, safeguarding which Brexit was proposed.

Dominic Raab used some strong words in his tweet like ‘I can't work against my conscience for this deal’.
